Jersey State Teenager David Polenz Continuing To Advance

Only 19 years old, David Polenz has some very deep roots in racing, as Polenz heads into his thirteenth season. A nephew of the late Flemington Fair Speedway and Bridgeport Speedway big block modified chauffeur Richie Polenz, David has raced successfully in a variety of racing divisions, while successfully and quickly climbing up the racing ladder.

David has 69 career feature wins, for starters. He won 18 Go-Kart races. He had 24 Quarter Midget wins. Polenz scored 21 triumphs in the Legends Cars, plus 3 career track championships along the way. Added in to that mix also is an INEX Legends State Pro Asphalt Legends Championship season, plus two Rookie Of The Year trophies. The last two-years Polenz tossed in a total of 6 NASCAR Whelen Asphalt Late Model Series victories, with two consecutive second-place finishes in the season-long points races at the Old Dominion Speedway located in Manassas, VA.

Again, in 2011, David Polenz will chauffeur the family owned Late Model ride, which is prepared throughout the year by Dave Moon of Moon Racing Enterprises along with a second car, this year, which will be raced by Polenz at in selected special events in southern Virginia and in South Carolina. David, again, will have his father, Jeff, serving the teams as Crew Chief.

On The Run convenience stores has agreed to sponsor the Polenz No.33 machine this year with the popular GazZu Energy drink on the equipment as primary backer. Sun Drop Citrus Soda will be an associate team sponsor for 2011. That support will allow David to get out there and compete at more races, in 2011. With the all-new sponsor partnership deal could Polenz now gain a points championship at the Old Dominion Speedway three-eighths mile high-banked paved raceway in his third full season of competition there?

A Pattenburg, NJ resident, David is a youthful driver who’s, steadily, raced his way to the top and it should be fun watching the talented teenager, this summer.
